Spotlight: The Maxi Dress

If Summer had a voice it would scream one thing, and one thing only: dresses! The hot weather is the perfect occasion to set aside your warmer clothes and pull out your dresses. More specifically, a trend that I have been eyeing this past year has been the maxi dress. I think its length gives an effortless appeal, making it look like you've spent a long time getting ready when you actually just slipped it on. (Shhh!)

  

Perfect for a night out, a shopping trip with your best girlfriends or even for a date, the simplicity of the maxi dress gives you plenty of room for accessories! Whether it is with a bold necklace, a purse, a statement pair of high heels or even some sneakers, the maxi dress can easily be dressed up or down.
